I've switched to priv and saw the contacts app has had a makeover compared to the bb10 version. I had contact Duplicating issues on my passport and thought finally I won't have it on the priv. But it's the same unfortunately.

I've turned off all other account syncs. It's purely local contacts. Nothing else messing with it.

Most of my contacts appear as two. If I delete one, they both get deleted. Literally just an unnecessary duplicate that is starting to annoy me. It just confuses everything for no reason.

Any body else having this problem?
How do I fix it ?

Purely local contacts. Nothing else syncing in. Deleted all accounts in view. Only local contacts on. Also some contacts just refuse to update. I can't edit names sometimes.

I don't think so. My sim contacts shows I have 0

Nope not that as well. I was actually to figure out how to do that as well.

Its literally Duplicating for no reason. On BB10 it was the same.

Yes I have viber. I've removed it from contacts view but sync is there. So each contact it shows their viber details as well

So I'm thinking it's the most recent contacts app update. I'm now having this issue and never did before. And never ever used viber.
