    I just transferred all my contacts from one priv to another one via a backup file. One thing I noticed now is that all the pictures I had saved to the contacts are in poor resolution. Anyway to correct this?

    No. The pictures save "altered". I have had to go back and change all my pictures... so I made photo backups. Big Pain

    From what I read, if you use Google, the contacts are synced there. When it gets to Google contacts, they downsize the resolution to 96x96 (or so), and your HQ or HD contact photo is not used. When you reload back to a new phone or sync, it sends the downgraded quality version to your phone. I am currently dealing w/ the same thing. I am trying to alter the Google contacts on the computer and syncing it to phone. It works @ the beginning but over time the phone contact photos slowly become blurry (syncs back and forth - quality degrades each time I think). Only solution is to create a folder, and alphabetized the pics and assigned them individually to each contact. Or try an app on the GPS.

    What I did was I saved the contacts on the memory card and transferred them over that way. I didn't sync with Google at all. And when they loaded.... Blurred city
