Does anyone else have an issue with the capacitive features not working when typing out a tweet in the official Twitter app? I can use the scrolling function when reading the timeline, but when typing out a tweet I do not get word suggestions, can't access the other characters, can't delete a word by swiping left ... nothing works.

It has been mentioned and especially criticised in a couple of reviews. Not only Twitter but other apps as well.

It's not just the Priv. It has to do with the properties of the text box you're typing in. For example, in BB10 browser, when you type a search term in youtube, the predictive text doesn't work either.

Sorry didn't find the other threads. I was probably searching too specifically for Twitter and Priv. But thanks for the information. I guess they may be limited in the way they can implement the capacitive features.

I don't have a Priv (yet) but have seen this limitation on BB10 as well so I decided to chime in.
