    Hi all,

I filed a claim yesterday afternoon because my screen cracked about a month ago and finally decided to file a claim.

I looked this morning \and it is still pending.

I thought there service was pretty fast? Is there a number to call?

I made a claim had the replacement in three business days, they just held funds on my credit card until I sent the old phone back. They sent my request to there distributer, until they shipped the phone it showed as pending . Hope this helps,i felt getting a new unit was faster then fixing my cracked Passport!

On phone with them now, just make sure you tell them you dropped it!

They will not cover it otherwise

Expect a long wait, I've been waiting almost 3 months to get the screen repaired on my Priv. It took about two months for them to e-mail me a shipping label and now my phone has been at Blackberry for a month just to fix a cracked screen.

I guess another good reason to get BlackBerry Protect Insurance for $5 a month. $129 deductible. But at least you get a new phone right away regardless damage to phone line a screen crack or internal.
Problem is you have to sign up within 30 days of receiving new unused phone.

Good idea, I should have done that. I didn't expect it to take so long to have a screen replaced.

That long wait is from the Blackberry protect insurance.

40plus40 posted above it took 3 business days. There are other threads saying same as well so not sure what happened to your phone? Maybe we had a misunderstanding. The actual name is BlackBerry Care Protection Plan. My mistake. That really sucks if they are just repairing. They usually replace quickly.
