BlackBerry is not competing in the consumer space. Chen already made it clear.. he feels the Android space in the enterprise market is very under served and that is what he wants to capture. Blackphone, Samsung Knox and Graphite phone plus maybe a few others are his competitors.

Giving that it's Android BlackBerry could also get the type of consumer who puts privacy and security high on their list of wants. If it's not on yours then feel free to get another android phone that the manufacturer is not willing to invest the time and money to secure Android.

Everyone moaning about the price just needs to hush up, put your money where your mouth is and get a cheaper Android phone or stay on BlackBerry 10. Enough already. Nobody cares if u buy it or not. Fingers are not equal so deal with it and move on.
