I agree the cult following of BMW is kinda like Blackberry. Other cars exist at better prices with better specs and better options with better sales figures but there's something about driving a bmw that is unlike any other car- the ultimate driving experience.

Having come from a OnePlus One, I can say you get what you pay for. We were all left high and dry on that phone when issues came about. Support from Chinese manufacturers are non existent. This is why you can get a Chinese phone for so cheap. They probably have higher specs and such but when something happens, good luck.

As for Nokias�my last Nokia was a Lumia 1020 and I still love that phone. If that ran Android, I�d still be using it. Problem is, they run Windows and the app ecosystem is non existent there. Lumias are amazingly well built, but they don�t have the apps and it hurt them badly.

So with the Blackberry at least we have customer support and now with Android, an app ecostsyem. They are built reasonably well and Blackberry has done a decent job with hardware in the past.

To illustrate my point, I would be afraid to purchase a Chinese phone with a sliding mechanism because I know it�d fall apart in a few months. I�ve purposely tried to unhinge my slider and couldn�t. I�m sure given enough stress it would break, but I�m incredibly happy with the build quality and support from the Blackberry community and forums such as these.

With the Price of the Priv here in Malaysia at $3,388 on a 2 year contract with limited units available

I can buy a :

- Samsung S6 Edge @ $2,400 (off contract) plus
- BlackBerry Leap - $850 (off contract) plus a sumptuous dinner for the whole family.

Or

Buy an iPhone 6S at $3,300+ if I'm not mistaken this is also off contract price too.
