Anyone know why there are 2 BlackBerry, separate apps in Google Play store for Notes?
The second one is for enterprise deployment.

As it says in the opening of the description:

IMPORTANT NOTE: This version of the BlackBerry® Notes application is built for BlackBerry® Dynamics and will not operate without the necessary back-end software. Please contact your IT administrator for a username and password.

I think this app is ingenious. No one close by will ever be able to read what is on your screen. Except the CIA. Lol.
This is why they should have developed screen encryption instead.

I used it today actually it's pretty useful. When you're in a crowded place like a bus for example and having a private conversation.

BlackBerry Privacy Shade or Privacy Screen protector. Which do you think would be better?

Has anyone downloaded the new BlackBerry app ? It's called privacy shade
I have. IMO it's made very well. Great for reading email or text in crowded public areas. It's nice to see BB creating apps outside their initial suite offerings.

When you look at what a steaming pile of * the playstore is, it's comforting to see the BB branded apps in there.

The second version is for Enterprise users and requires BlackBerry Dynamics to be installed.

Then ya'll would just complain that the lasers were killing your battery.
Besides, with the quality, (lack of) on the Priv "shoulder cam", it would just end up blinding the owner.
That's funny right there. There is a lot of complaining round hyah

Yes, if the camera detects someone looking over your shoulder ...
Sometimes, the weirdest ideas have legs.
This one is simply brilliant IMHO. Combine this with privacy shade (detected = screen obfuscation + even take a pic of the watcher) and we've got a possible winner ...

Oh, moved to an entirely HIGHER level. I really like your proposed enhancements.

And it was a real pleasure meeting you in Barcelona.

Right, and then someone loses the glasses and blames BB because they did not include a tether or lanyard or their battery did not last long enough.

Interesting to see the uses from people. As I live in a rural area I'm very rarely on public transport so not really an issue with having other people look at my work or phone.

Glad that it seems like a lot of people are enjoying this so far.

Yes, if the camera detects someone looking over your shoulder it shoots out laser beams into their eyes!
I like it... BlackBerry 'friggin laser beams'!
Look at my phone and lose your vision for a few hrs. Handy!
