Will this phone work on the Rogers network and the bloatware be removed? Any drawbacks???

I believe it will work - however, the drawback would be OS updates. You will be at At&t's mercy. They haven't even pushed out Marshmallow yet....

Thanks for your reply. So there would be no way (once unlocked and connected to ogers) that it would auto upload new updates from Rogers?

This is definitely not true. Marshmallow IS available for AT&T Blackberry Priv.

Doubtful that all of the AT&T bloatware (7 - 8 apps, many with an additional monthly cost) would be removed, as unlocking does not remove anything. I have unlocked an AT&T phone with no difference in apps installed. You can, however, disable them.

You will not receive updates unless you have an AT&T sim card and are connected to the AT&T network in the US unless BB comes through with another way for all of the unlocked AT&T devices.

Incorrect my fellow CB friend, I received the AT&T MM OTA about 2 weeks ago now.

Glad I bought mine from shop BlackBerry. Although Amazon, Yahoo Finance, WatchDox, were all installed on mine. I did install a lot of the ATT apps because I'm on ATT but some of those you showed are ridiculous to have on the device, like Directv app.
