I am so happy with Priv!
Except it was an Android so I was NOT able to change some simple things as I can do on my Passport:

    1. Date format, I want to have it in DD.MM.YYYY but it is only MM.DD.YYYY. There is no option for that.
    2. No different led colors for different app, no customization for vibration (long, short, one or 2 times).

So far, BB10 is much better. Just lacking of apps!
    Hello

Great you are enjoying your PRIV. With regards to your points.
1: have not seen how to change date format if possible?
2: Custom LED notifications for apps is possible just a different method than from BB10. Here url to thread where explains. Also URL to PRIV official Help.
    Good luck

    1. Date format where? Seems pretty DD MM to me...

    2. Of course there is, it's just determined by individual apps and their respective settings, not by the system.

Thanks a lots for your reply.
It seems the date and time is depending on the location or version (Mine is QWERTZ).

    Ahhhhhhhhhhh

NP. I think it actually only depends on the system language. Mine is QWERTY, but depending on language, it changes. I normally have it set to English (United Kingdom), if I set it to English (United States) it becomes "May 9", while if I set it to German it's "9. Mai" (with a dot after the number).
It used to be configurable manually IIRC, regardless of language, but somewhere between Android 4.4 and 6 Google obviously decided we don't need such a setting.

OP - not sure if still relevant but Conite posted excellent response on same question different thread.

Basically if you need PKB, obviously, the PRIV. However, if you prefer VKB, or think you can adapt, then DTEK50 since it's a much lighter phone.

I carry both, and the more time goes by, the more I prefer the DTEK50. Nothing against PRIV. I don't use the PKB that much anymore so I don't need the weight.
