I am confused and i'm trying to see if i get this right.

When I take a picture using the camera app, and then I click on the button down right to view the last picture, if i slide the picture upwards(or downwards), does that delete the picture? NO confirmation, nothing?? I took a couple of pictures, and when I went to view them I slide the picture upwards and it was gone. I can't find it anywhere.

If that's the case, where a simple swipe erases the picture completely without anyconfirmation then i'll be very disappointed.

Yes, a swipe up or down does delete the picture but while there's no delete confirmation there's most def. an undo button that serves as confirmation.
