The test seems to show the 64bit.. I do not know if it is really a "proof" but definitely can be an indication of what CPU the Priv is using

I am looking forward to use this camera.. probably I will not record that much in 4K any way but it is nice to see it there.. what I really care about is the quality of the pictures..

64-bit and 4K video are pretty much a given on any modern flagship smartphone. Qualcomm has almost entirely phased out 32-bit CPUs, and all of their high-end CPUs support 4K.

If 4Kvideos is true, having the SD-card slot will prove to be a handy and economical choice for the Androidians in our midst lol

It's been already made known that the Priv runs the Snapdragon 808 (MSM8992), so 64-bit support was a given.

I expected atleast 128bit. So disappointed, thanks Chen.

4K is irrelevant on a phone... 4K in a phone is a gimmick to sell phone for the "Spec wh0res". It's like the early megapixel race, but now the consumer started to realise that megapixels won't tell much about camera quality... Now we are in the 4K wich is the same as megapixels, just another name.

4k is good just to fill your phone huge amounts of data, so that you can't buy the 16 or 32gb model, now you have to buy 64 or 128gb because you want the [useless] 4k.

What people should want is 4k downscaled to 1080p, wich you will get the same quality and detail, but with files 4x smaller... but yeah, you can't brag about it at the bar, and brag matters the most

fyi megapixel is pretty important when it comes to downscaling. thats why the 43mpx nokia was sooo good. the actual picture you got was only 8mpx, but the raw photo was 43mpx with so many data that you could make a very nice 8mpx photo from it

Read my last paragraph, I explain exactly that, I totally agree with you. Because even with full professional camera Sony FS700 wich is a 4000$ camera (without any lens or accessories), when you downscale 4k to 1080p there is almost no difference in detail or sharpenss.

But we all know that phone companys would rather sell you the 4k, because the consumer pays more for it.

Hate to be facetious, but BlackBerry has historically only sold one-size internal storage devices, and, if the SD slot is indeed present, it's very likely that the Priv will follow suit. I don't see BlackBerry putting more than 32 gb internally, but that's just my personal opinion.

4k may be a waste of space if you are playing the videos on the phone or a 1080 screen, but 4k downsampled to 1080p is nowhere near the same quality as native 4k when on a 4k screen or TV.

I have tested back to back.

My question is, how will this be different from AVG, Kaspersky and all of the other security suites ON Android. The features look similar.

My guess is, Safeguard will offer nearly the same as AVG and the others, but will come on the phone free. I'm not sure what BB could do beyond what these security companies have already done with their suites. Nevertheless, I will gladly make thr switch back to BB.

As you can see by the screens below, the services looks very similar.

Do those apps have app data assessments? I haven't used them in a while so I don't really remember their whole scope. Safeguard seems to be able to tell you exactly what information an app is utilizing.

I'm feeling like a broken record at this point... we're witnessing"controlled leaks." We're only seeing what we're supposed to be seeing at this point, and nothing more. Just enough to keep people talking without revealing the whole shebang.

Notice how the something different, but nothing too revealing, is leaked each time? Definitely not due to chance. If somebody had the opportunity, they'd let out the floodgates.
