Here are all the threads referring to the issues people are experiencing with the Hub and Hub+ Services.

    Main complaints:
    • Laggy scrolling *Fixed with most recent update
    • File/Delete/Options icons taking too long to appear, not being able to file or delete right away, KB not responding until icons appear.
    • New emails not showing up in hub instantly (taking time to load new emails after you open hub), even though notifications and productivity tab is indicating there are new emails.
    • Once email is deleted, it takes long time for screen to return to Hub
    • Once email is filed, it takes long time for screen to return to Hub
    • Filing behavior is not consistent, for example filing through keyboard may keep you in email, but filing through on screen tap will take you back to hub, and when this is delayed, user hits the back button, which results in returning to Android home screen. Hopefully this can be fixed with an update where filing/deleting gives users an option to stay in email or return to hub or go to next or previous email like some 3rd party email apps.
    • Typing is painfully slow in some emails, while it is fast in others. If the email is a long one, it takes about 1 second for each character to show up as we type, regardless on PKB or VKB.

Here is a video posted by a user @Devil that demonstrates only a very small part of the problem, which affects the operation greatly.

Great job in collating all the data. It will help BlackBerry to fix it soon.

One of the old issues for me apart from what all you mentioned,

On my xiaomi redmi note 3 I am not able to use swipe for sms, doesn't matter if the app is native messaging or hangout.

Not really an issue but wish to have better predictions on the keyboard.

More customization for BlackBerry Hub like font size, more condensed view, small icons etc. This helps in having a quick view at a lot of things.

The fix hasn't been released yet, keep checking Play Store for updates (if you disabled automatic updates like some users, including myself) for an update to be released soon. c_bryant34 already posted in several threads.

Oh, the PM worked! Nice to hear.

It would be nice to know what actually caused it.

    It worked wonders

I doubt we will ever know the RC, but it is really nice to know that people like Cody and his team are on top of things.
Not more than a couple of years ago, an issue this big with the HUB would have meant an new OS would have to be rolled out

Not sure if my next phone after the Priv will be Blackberry!
The Priv is ok but OLD guts in it and I can tell its slowinggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg down more and more and have to do hard resets more often and really is the security any different than getting a SS and get the BB suite?
I fired up my Classic yesterday and used it for a day and its ok nothing special a good back up phone i guess, I guess all the excitment from BlackBerry has been crushed and really nothing exciting from them coming down the pipe!

BlackBerry has been my ONLY phone for years and years

Cody just responded on a different thread the the update is now available in the play store under HUB+Services.

Apply that and I guarantee you will be loving your PRIV once again, with no more need for hard resets....

For all those who were so quick to jump on these here forums to bash and cry and moan about the HUB and it's issues, should take even 1/2 the time to thank Cody and his team.

This was an issue that kept growing in leaps and bounds in the last few DAYS - the team managed to come up with a fix, test it and deploy it in a very small window, and for THAT they should be commended as quickly and as veraciously as they were jumped on to begin with...

Just my 2 cents having worked in IT for 20+ years.

Ok, here is the question now....

Just checked and on my Verizon PRIV, I now have a System update waiting with the size of 158.1MB - (Yes, you read that correctly...) which I can only assume is the December Security update. That being said, I am very hesitant to update as it may cause "other" issues...

    Thought from the Zoo??
