    so still using the stock camera... and it seems its not taking the best pictures as it once did at one time... anyone care to help me out?

    Not sure how much help can be offered here. You can wipe and reload your device but I doubt that will help.

    Could be something was changed in the settings that you may have forgotten about such as aperture,exposure or image stabilization. Could be something on the lens. In what way are the pictures not "their best"?

    clean the lens for starters. nothing has changed in the s/w that would degrade image quality.

    Oil buildup on the lens due to handling does seem to be a common problem. Using a good quality cleaning cloth should solve that problem.

    I am probably too cautious but I keep my Priv in a case and then enclose it in a microfiber bag (eyeglass). But maybe it's because my dad was a professional photographer and I noticed how hazy photos were if the camera was just slipped in my pocket. Film comprised of dust, lint and grease really ruins a good photo.

    Taken within moments but before and after cleaning the Z30 lens. Here's my reasoning:

    I guess i should of included some pictures... sorry about that.

    The picture of the Lake view is right when i got the phone... notice how clear etc..

    The picture of my car is just from today.. Sunny aswell as the lake picture. It seems hazy almost etc...?

    That does look like a hazed over lens like my example above. But, if not, could be a camera problem. Clean the lens with a soft lens cloth.
