Probably my most straightforward post yet. Is there an equivalent to Blend that works on the Priv?

    No.

You can try Pushbullet - you will see and be able to respond to notifications on your computer.

If Samsung made such an app for Android generally instead of just their own phones I'd be happy with SideSync. There must be some Android OS changes that must be made to supports such apps which is why there isn't a Blend equivalent in the Playstore.

    Hi everyone,

I was just going to ask this question in the Priv forum as I am being asked by 2 friends about moving to the Priv.

Both are currently using corporate issued Z30's and the Blend feature is almost a must. I know that it's not a feature available on the Priv but do we know if it will ever come??

Also the workaround that's being thrown around here, is this an app or something that's available from Google?

    Thanks in advance

Pushbullet is an app available from the Google Play Store.

BlackBerry has no intention of bringing Blend to Android for the foreseeable future.

Pushbullet is about the closest you will find, but it doesn't hold a candle to blend.

Try Join instead of PushBullet. Better app and much better pricing model.

I'm just waiting for the Windows 10 Redstone, where you can get and respond to Android notifications.

Unfortunately nothing similar on Android. Blend was an excellent and very useful feature !

I think you're confusing Blend with Link, we're not trying to backup data but rather access to SMS, BBM/WhatsApp/etc., email (not stored on PC), etc. Link was what allowed device backup.

The software the person you responded to is talking about also mirrors your phone onto PC so you can access all those thing. So take it as Blend (not as good, nothing is) and Link combined.
