I have had my beloved PRIV since February. The battery life is much better now on MM but sometimes if I stay out for the night I need extra power. From your experience, which power bank do you best recommend?

I have a 12000mah fromjokery and a 10000mah from amazon basics brand. Truthfully I prefer the amazon one. Have had it for about a year and use to to recharge various electronics. Both have two USB outputs for charging.

I use the Aukey 16000mAh Power Bank with Quick Charge 2.0:

PB-T3 16000mAh Power Bank with Quick Charge 2.0

Anker is also very good. If I got another, I'd look to get the PowerCore+ 26800 & PowerPort+ 1

    Huge capacity.

I have a RAVPower unit and like it a LOT; it can be left connected to a charging source and still used in a "pass through" mode (much like a UPS) which I have as a requirement.

It works exceptionally well and IMHO is in the "sweet spot" for size, mass, and capacity.

I have both Anker and Aukey 20mah power banks. Both are good but the one difference I discovered is that with the Aukey you can charge it while charging 2 other devices.

Not a big deal but worked well when I was in Europe and had only one adaptor.

Here's what I've used on trips to Europe and closer to home:

One European plug adapter provides power to four devices. Although it appears that it might be discontinued from manufacturer's site.

Anker powercore 100000 has been great for me. Slim, small, takes a while to charge the powerbank itself, but charges my phone faster than any of the other (even QC 2) wall chargers I have used.

How many times can you charge up the Priv from this power bank?

I bought a RavPower 20100 QC3.0, and it charges the Priv only three times and another 70%. I have expected at least 5-6 charges, especially that my Priv is already 1 year old.
Is this normal, or it should make more full charges?

I would think that's normal. Take 20100mAh, 80% effiiciency for LiIon tech, about 90% for the power conversion, that's 4.24 charges, minus some because the phone is obviously also using power while it's on the charger.

I also have a RavPower 10000, and the thing I like most is that it not only QuickCharges my phone, it also takes QC as input. I have actually measured it, it takes about 9V 1.8A input (16W) and the Priv takes up to 9V 1.5A out. It does get warm though when charging itself and the phone. (So does the Priv, but we all know that, don't we?)

Thanks, that makes sense, and makes me worry less.

I also bought the RavPower because it can both be charged and charge with Quick Charge 3.0.

Also, it can do pass-through charging, ie. being charged, and charge the phone. I know it is not efficient, and shortens the lifespan of the powerbank, but who cares, life is short, I want to use it. Anyway, the powerbank will be outdated in a year or two.

Poweradd Pilot 2GS. 10Ah charges the Priv 2.5 times and has regular and quick charge outlets. I use my own 1 metre cable with it. It was very reasonably priced on Amazon - $17 Canadian.
