I really liked the BlackBerry clock app, and don't care too much for the app that came installed on the priv - can anyone recommend a good clock app?

(I really liked that longines watch face of the bb!)

Thanks, that looks good, but I want to keep my BlackBerry launcher, so I'm looking for an app.

You don't need to change launchers to use specific widgets I don't think. The standard blackberry one supports widgets doesn't it?

Sure you can 😊 but if you're after just a clock app then I use timely... It's owned by Google I think and is very well designed. Even has a basic clock widget to go with it too

I use Transparent Weather Clock. It's free and somewhat customizable. What I really like about it is that it shows whatever my next calendar entry is in the widget.

Thanks everyone, what I'm wanting to get rid of is this awful looking clock app provided by google: which is actually a blue screen, but showing black.

So the features just need to include basic alarms etc.

I like the way the clock appears on the home screen, and is able to be accessed on touch.

I like it too, but do wish for a smaller widget.

You realise that if you press on the time the widget comes up and you can change the size? Or maybe you mean something else ......

Yes I know, it just won't go as small as I'd like. There are other widgets from other clock apps out there that are smaller, but I actually like the original clock app, so I use it. It isn't a big deal, just a wish that they'd come out with a smaller widget.

I have finally been able to get it to go a little smaller. I have been trying by using the bottom part of the frame, but it would pop back to the original size. I tried to pull the top part down and it resized it to an acceptable size. It is odd the way it works, but once I got to know it, it is okay, just odd.

I use Nightclock. It's pretty basic, but you can customize the color/size of the clock, and it brings with it some of the bedside mode functionality too. It'll pick up on system alarms or you can create alarms within it. The only downside is that it comes up with just buttons for snooze and disable, which means you could accidentally turn off your alarm when you are just trying to snooze.

I wish someone would duplicate the analog clock from BB10.
