Has anyone filed a claim? If so, how does it work? Do they send you money? A new phone? How much?

They have a very good reputation. I haven't used them for a claim yet, but I'm sure they come through well from what I've heard from others. They are inexpensive by comparison to others. They are also the third party carrier for many retailers when you buy an aftermarket warranty. The only thing I believe has changed is they used to have lost/ stolen coverage, and they don't now- although the annual price has come down as well. It appears to get loss/ stolen coverage through anyone is 2-3x the price, and with high deductibles. Since over 80% of claims are for damaged or broken phones, I believe Square Trade is a very good value option.
