    Since Android M I encounter a problem with my email synchronisation via BlackBerry Hub. I think doze is the problem. When my PRIV is active I receive my email every 5 minutes or via push. I don't have Gmail. But when my PRIV is in doze mode I found out that I only receive email when I activate my PRIV. I already disabled doze for BlackBerry Hub via battery settings menu, but that didn't help.

    Anyone else with this same issue?
    What can I do in order to restore BlackBerry Hub as it was with Android L.

    Yes, they've (Google) done some really...painful things with doze that really harm the experience of some apps. We've got a mitigation strategy in place which will be coming in the next update as we saw this coming to a degree.

    ...assuming it is doze that's the culprit anyway.

    Is BBM affected by doze as well? And what about text messages or whatsapp messages?

    I don't seem to have this issue either. b_j, do you have doze settings on for BlackBerry apps?

    I will say that with how doze works, most people should never even see it. The device needs to be idle and not plugged in for an extended period of time, so typically only overnight when you don't plug in.

    I always wake up to a slew of notifications, so frankly, i have not observed this bug even overnight.

    I would say I agree, but frankly, when I'm not using my phone for more than a few hours, it's on a wireless charger, so I don't really know if I'm effected.
