Up until very recently my BlackBerry Priv had all kinds of custom alarm tones that I had added. Suddenly my phone lost all of my ringtones and alarms. I was able to put my ringtones back and they work. Unfortunately the alarms folder is not recognizing my tones.

How can I get my alarms back on my phone? The stupid built in ones are not obnoxious enough to wake me up in the morning. This has always been my alarm for work and it's making me almost late for work every day.

Are your tones on a sd card or device storage? Not sure if this will solve your issue but I've experienced tones not working after updates or restarts and. Found that moving / copying tones to device solved issue.

So I gave up and tried an Alarms folder on my sd card and it worked. no idea why the phone is being so stupid.
