Meanwhile, my screen on time most likely is a bit more in tune with the mean of the average Priv user...

and keep in mind, I use 2 devices always and the Priv is only my secondary device, used far less than my Classic which is a TRUE trooper, its battery better able to handle my abuse...

Not using the CB Android app... You'd have to use the CB for BB10 app OR post via the browser from your Android in order to get more than one picture posted... Annoying, but that's how it's been for a while now...

Lol that's nuts. What is your NORMAL day like?

Will have to check this week. To be honest, I don't really check that. For how I use it on a regular daily basis, I can get through a full day no problem. Off the charger at 6:30am... still going strong by 11:30pm at night with a safe amount of juice left. Never have to worry about topping it up. For me, that's the only stat I care about. Gets me through the day. My SOT is likely low as I like to get in, check stuff, get out. GSD. When an alert comes in, I check it, respond, call, text, Whatsapp, whatever and then lock the screen. Biggest screen time apps for me are my sports trackers when I'm running/cycling etc... as they keep the screen on.

Well, I just received the AAF518 update yesterday morning, haven't really seen the improvement as yet but yesterday was such a rather tough day for my PRIV. I'm on a holiday right now and yesterday I took so many photos, posted to instagram, checked all my notifications almost every time throughout the day and there was a time where we went to some islands where the reception was a bit flimsy as it kept on switching from LTE to H+ due to the distance from the main land so it kinda hit a toll to the battery BUT my phone could still manage to serve my day from 7AM fully charged to 17% juice left at 12AM before I went to bed.

Everything changed dor me when I formated my phone and set it up as a new device. No back ups. Used to get 3 h of SOT but with marshmallow I usually get 6 to 7. Huge improvement. I don't disable anything and mostly use lte no wifi.

I don't get 5 hours sot anymore,

Used to. But that was me using the phone from the time I took it off charge till it died, got about 5.5 hours SOT.

Now Im over my priv excitement. Use it and put it down. Nothing major.

2 emails , BBM, whatsapp , Facebook, instagram and youtube here and there with surfing.

At the end of the day around 9 pm I end up with 10 percent battery 3 hours 45 minutes or so SOT.

On MM.

Say what u want but it's the standby battery drain I'm so disappointed in.

In 5 hours I lose 15 percent.

If you want to see true killer battery life go to a guy with an s7 edge snapdragon variant or a guy with mate 8. Those people pull 7 to 8 hours SOT like it's bread and butter with ease.. Stand by and all..

I'd like blackberry to look into this, not charging my device for 2 days will be nice..

Plus no quick charger and wireless charging for my 004 variant kinda sucks.
