after noticing the plastic over my keyboard was lifting, I went to t-mobile and picked up a new handset, now I notice how cheap my first one felt.
no creaking or anything, the slide feels tights as hell, solid.
my first was brand new and I can't believe It didn't feel as good as this.
for as much as the PRIV cost, every handset should be excellent

I've had mine for 5 days, new from EE, and I've had no problems like the one you've had. I must say the build quality of my Priv is quite impressive. The only problem I have is the screen shutting off/flashing black when turning the device back on after the battery reaches 0%.

Both from T-Mobile? Both official T-Mobile devices or through a 3rd party company?

Still using my original Priv via T-Mobile... The device was perfect right out of the box. No clicky screen or peeling plastic. Glad the redux unboxing brought you a more pristine unit!

yeah, both from t-mobile, if it wasn't for the plastic over my keyboard lifting, I would have never known that my PRIV wasn't perfect

Guess they have some Privs built with manufacturing fixes. Hope to get mine soon.

I got mine 5 days ago; would you say mine is one of those with the "fixes"? I'm getting paranoid now; I might have to remove the case and check for any defects...

I noticed because I felt an "edge" when sliding my finger from the speaker grill towards the keyboard then that plastic edge started to lift
