hi ive just got a playbook for xmas but on the homepage the camera and music keeps disappearing then comes back y how do I keep them their and does this device not need a antivirus tried downloading avg to tablet but no good new to this so any help needed

As the PlayBook OS is very different, I doubt there are too many Virus that would be able to run on it....

Your saying the Camera and Music icons are disappearing?

Was this a new unit? Or a used one? Might would try reloading the OS....

Had this Playbook for several years, have never had any issues with viruses. As for the icons, did you "customize" what you want on the home screen? Have you tried creating folders for icons? There is a "bar" that holds your 5 most used icons, but you can flip between that and a whole page with the arrow on the right. You can move icons but holding on them until they flash, then drag them around. I have all my icons on my home page, my top 5 on the bar, then the rest grouped in folders.
