Got my PB back Friday from BB. it booted up and everything was fine at the office. Come home and was getting very quirky performance from the internet. I use a netgear WAP so I figure i would mess with the settings. It is a dual band device and i connect at the 2.5 not the 5.0 on my PB. Forgive me if I have those numbers wrong. Once I took the WAP of N and placed it on B/G the playbook SCREAMS on the net! Luckily I didnt have to disable the higher speed for the laptops on the WAP. Even more pleased with the device than i was before it bricked.
I see people checking their connection speed to their WAP. How is that done?
With the 5 and N on my laptop I get in excess of 300MB connection speed. Glad i still was able to keep that AND use the PB.
