Dunno if it's been posted or not, but you can re-name folders by opening the folder, then in the open folder view touch and hold (long touch) the folder name... a re-name box will pop up...

Sign up here with your PIN, and then a new update to 2.0 should be available on your tablet (tap the Check for Update button if not).

Just made a small video to show the Microsoft Bluetooth Mouse 5000 working after the update 2.0.0.4869.
It's working great, and the scroll wheel works outside the web browser... these are good news

PS. I've edited the video to cut after 20 secs... but it may take some time until it takes effect on youtube.

    Default .4869 bug

I found a bug in the newest release (.4869) where if you attempt to scroll your homescreen icons up towards the icon dock, they will overlap with your docked icons. Definitely not a huge deal but somethink I hope RIM fixes in the official 2.0 to make it more visually stimulating and feel more solid.

Mine had that issue along with some other online flash playbacks, so I downgraded it to 1.0.8

Everything seems to be working very well on mine with the exception of Battery Life. I have to charge mine Daily now. I currently lose 26% + overnight.... about 6.5 hours on standby. Tested this with a fresh restart to make sure nothing was causing a drain!! I guess the only thing that would be running would be the Bridge Apps!! Anyone else have anything similar?

I am actually very pleased with the 4869 update. I was previously using 1.0.8 and I couldn't stand the wifi issues that I was experiencing. Decided to check out the lstedt 2.0 update and surprise surprise the wifi problems were gone. Now the only thing I noticed with this 4869 update (after performing a security wipe) is that I cannot access bridge from the notifications bar. I need to manually go into the bridge folder and open calendar, bbm, messages etc... This isn't all that bad because at least the bridge actually does work. With that being said, I also noticed my LED motification light does not blink. The glowing works but not the LED. I assume this has something to do with me not being able to access bridge via notifications bar at the top.

Only real issue I'm facing after the beta update is my video chat won't seem to to work... Says unable to connect to video chat service. I haven't seen any other people with 2.0 mention this so I'm thinkin its an isolated problem.

P.s. Its on my home network and my wifes playbook w/o beta os works fine. I'm thinkin I'll either have to reload the os or wait for an update.

Default Email does not work form me with 4869

I just upgraded by from 3xxx, and now I can't access my email from bridge. The screen comes with 'All Messages' but it keeps loading the left tab, the one where list of emails is.

Anyone else have the similar issue?

I can see the notification for emails in the toolbar and it works when I click it to send me to email client, but then again the client itself is hanging.

I noticed that when you have folders, while your scrolling, sometimes they clip through the top bar

    Default USAToday working bar file

Of all the apps that have been installed and work on OS2.0 its curious to me that USAToday has not been successfully converted. Even wsj has been converted.

I did find a bar file on the net but it just doesn't work. Installs and opens but just displays a black screen. Anyone have any ideas on getting USAToday to work on PB 2.0? I see the database shows that the apk is needed. USAToday is so prolific its hard for me to understand why a usable apk file cannot be located.

I had trouble with browser crashes with the original beta, so I went back to the official OS. When this new beta (4869) came out, I decided to give it another try and I must say I've been quite pleased. I think I've had just one browser crash and one hang up (when I tried to bridge and I was out of range). Otherwise, this build has been rock solid for me. And the few Android apps I'm running seem to be working well.

Right, after installing the latest 2.0 beta I decided to have a play about with dingleberry. Managed to get the full android market set up. However as of few days ago the device refuses to connect via usb and also charge.

When I connect it via usb to two different computers they both give me the error usb device not recognised due to malfunction etc. Tried the usual reboots, hard resets, uninstall desktop manager and reinstall etc. The playbook also doesn't show the charging battery icon when the charger is plugged in. Whether its charging I have no clue.

Here's the interesting part. I did a security wipe and now all I have is a browser icon and set-up icon!

What about these issues noted in Sticky?
    01. WPS activation through router didn't work.
    02. Camera won't focus.
    03. Bridge requires a workaround to use.

    Default Wallpaper

Is it just me or is anyone else having problems changing the wallpaper on ANY of the launchers for OS 2 beta .6149? I can go through the process, and it seems like the wallpaper is being changed but then - nothing. I have tried with Launcher Pro, Honeycomb Launcher and ICS Launcher. I've tried thr longpress method to select new wallpaper and also tried using the top menu bar. Neither works for me.

    Any suggestions?
