I don't think you should expect a beta ever to be released publicly with those features.
We do expect another beta very shortly, but it will again simply be intended for developers. The only thing we know will be in it is the spell-checking support, but I don't expect we'll see much of the other stuff added. I could be wrong, but there's been no hint that would ever happen.

Reason: fix typo
Dev's don't need a beta for most of that stuff. They need the core OS to test with. I know its cool and all but remember the beta isn't really meant for us to play with, it's for getting real work done.
Not sure I follow. I thought the betas were to get new code out to the developers to find bugs. Since I am registered developer I'm looking to challenge the new code before it makes it to the market.

NO, the developer beta program was setup to let app devs create more app for the OS2 release ahead of release time.
If this newer beta can give me the browser and streaming reliability of 1.0.8, I can't wait to get back to 2.0. I miss the UI. . Spellcheck would be a huge bonus.
Pics on BGR show an OS of 2.0.0.7116 being available for download as a software update.
If there are software updates for the full version of OS 2 being pushed out by a server somwhere, is there any way to find that server and download the OS off of it?

It's probably like signing up for the dev beta, where you submit your PIN and the server will give you the update you're slated for. Your PIN is not on that list.
