The stock browser on my playbook refuses to go to the pc site on skydrive, even though I click the line at the bottom of the page but nothing happens.

Can somebody try and tell me if it works or not.

I have had to put simple browser on just to get to the desktop site, but when I go into a doc and start typing it's all screwed up.

If you haven't already done so, you might want to clear the cache, etc. in the stock browser and give it another try. Yes, Simplebrowser is annoying on this since it looks like it should work but actually has all sorts of problems with Skydrive. The odd thing is there is really nothing proprietary or special about Skydrive coding at this point. It should be pretty simple - log on, switch to the PC site and do what you need to do.

Ok got the desktop site working in the native browser but when i come to create a doc the text that i type in appears backwards on the screen. For example if i type "testing" what i get on the screen is "gnitset"

How wacky is this, it does not do it when i type in a native app just online in skydrive and evernote.

This is not a wind up honest.

I have done a reset of the playbook and has not solved any issue I am having, I have come to the conclusion that it must be skydrive side when I am trying to create a new doc.
Can somebody confirm by going in skydrive and create a new doc, type some text and try the backspace key to delete some text and let me know why happens.

I am so pleased it's not just me,thought I was going mental. Also it happens in the evernote app as well.

TW Dawson, you are not crazy or seeing things. I just checked it out and the typing on the PB into the skydive edit window is completely f'd up.

Probably just best to use it for uploading, links & downloading for now. Damn why does everything have to be this difficult.

One of these days things will just work.
What I find surprising is that Microsoft have released apps for ios and android but not for playbook. I might have to get a window's 8 tablet when they are on the market but I don't want to as I love this playbook but if the apps are not forthcoming then I might think again.
I am a bit disappointed with the android apps on the pb as most of the new ones don't work at all like Google docs, I would just use that if it did work as I have bought more storage.

Someday maybe.
