lol this is amazing Makes me wonder why more companies didn't bother to do a port if a straightforward conversion is this simple and effective?!

    Exactly!
I put Kindle on my PB as soon as I could. And on my Z10!
You raise a good point. Why not more?

Instructions on how to sideload Kindle onto the PlayBook? It is very easy so long as you have a computer running Windows to do it from.

Every time I use it, I need to re-download most of my books. What version of Kindle are you running?

The problem with it, is it's a really old version, and if like me, many of the books you read on Kindle are "personal documents" or sideloaded docs, then that version won't sync with your other Kindle running devices (it'll only sync Amazon obtained docs / titles).

So for me, it's of precisely zero value.

At least the version that's available on BB10 / Z10 is reasonable recent and does allow syncing of non-Amazon books.

Yes it's version 3.2 I have. Synching of purchased books seems fine. I do not access my personal documents and PDFs via Amazon's cloud anyway.
