That seems like an overly simplistic question for something like putting an OS on something it was not designed for. What I mean is the OS that is installed on the Z10 was designed to work on that "phone", it would take some technical know-how and developing programming knowledge to "port" it over.

Is your question serious? Have you ever ported an OS to a device it wasn't desired for? I'm not saying it would be impossible or even very difficult since it has been done before. I'm just curious if you're serious about that.

I did play with Dev versions of BB10 OS on my playbook, just for the fun, and to see if it can be done,
downloaded bar file for Dev os from open source website
now that I got production BB10, how do I backup the OS as a bar file and load on to my playbook?
Guess I have to wait for RIM to launch the OS on their site, download it and then dingle it over to playbook.

which file? It came with a loader from their private beta site, which is a utility detects the bb10 device and download/install latest os, does not leave a cache copy
tried it with playbook, it wont recognize playbook

Aren't the PB OS BB10 and the BB10 phone OS different? I don't think it would work well but I'm no programmer.
