Just did a few update checks. Servers are down...
Either high traffic with others trying the same thing, something is coming down the pipeline or concidence?
I'm hoping option 2 on my list. The signs are there...

seems to be working here.
Chances are the servers are overloaded. Am I right in thinking that usually updates take place after 2pm gmt?
It was really slow earlier. Now it is back to normal. Wouldn't be surprised if they push a new update today. There were rumors a while back about PlayBook getting bb10 real soon
Until you can down load it, its vapor ware.
update for what ????
does the 2.1. 0. 1492 bring anything new ???
I'm really disappointed with the NEW Blackberry Co now.....who cares......March release in US...SERIOUSLY
I hope you realize that BlackBerry can't tell a carrier when to sell its phones
Working for me.
Update sever is still not working
There is NO update today so why even check.
The only update you will get probably on Sunday will be a few bug fixes and a renamed app world icon to black berry world. That's IT.
BB10 is MONTHS away for it.
This, especially when you consider it's good to go for TOMORROW in the UK and next week in Canada. It's the fault of the US carriers, likely lagging in testing.
I'm on 1314....just checked,says i have the latest software.
I connected my PlayBook to BlackBerry Link for the first time today. It installed some update but the OS is still at version .1314 with no further update available.
I didn't get any update, but I did do a full backup using Link, backup wasn't working for me using the old desktop manager.
This update was only ca. 34MB and as fas as I can judge it only brought back the pre-installed apps I deleted (Twitter browser shortcut, Music Store, Kobo Books, Accessories Store) as well as some apps I have never seen on my PlayBook before (PressReader and Zinio). And it duplicated my InLink app. Version numbers in About > OS all remained the same.
Same again after manual deinstallation of the NFB app. It was reinstalled as an "update" after connecting to BB Link.
I think the US Government had something to do with this. FCC needs to certify the device for use, I had read somewhere the devices were supplied early January to them.
