My Playbook just greeted me with an os update to 2.0.1.1088.

I didn't recall reading anything about an OS upgrade being available, is it old news that i missed or was this just released? Installing now (actually backing up first, then installing). Anybody have a change log, bug fix list, etc...?

Mine was 79mb, just finished installing and currently rebooting. Any word from anyone on new features; enahncements or bug fixes that this release was intended to provide?

It's a fix for this - KB32774-After upgrading to PlayBook OS 2.1.0.1032 the Local Calendar and Contact information is removed

Great. So I lost all my contacts with the first update. Now I spent 2 weeks painstakingly reentering everything. And now what, is this update going to wipe all that hard work and attempt to reinstate the old version??

BlackBerry10 will be amazing and my tablets specs are better than a recently released 7ish inch counterpart. Makes me feel good about my PlayBook. Updated hardware is always good but what's wrong with the PlayBook now?
I'm very pleased with mine now and still excited for BlackBerry10.

That was happening to me also, and a security wipe fixed it. Twitter no longer crashes for me. That was pretty much the only reason I did the wipe. I had to try
