Hi

I have a playbook that is stuck on the boot screen,
i allready flashed it with cfp and various OS versions with no luck
one thing i noticed is that shows PIN 0 on BB Desktop when i connect it, i think that can be the problem.
Is there any way to solve this issue or it is bricked forever?

How long has it been on the start-up screen? It can take a couple minutes.

Debrick or support?

Try the Debrick method....

Perform a backup of your pb if you can using Desktop Manager or, at least, manually coping any unique data, photos, voice recordings, documents, etc.

1) Turn your playbook OFF by holding down the power button
2) Let your playbook sit for about 10 minutes as earlier suggested.
3) After letting the PB sit (and still powered off) open up the Blackberry Desktop Software (the latest version)
4) Once the Blackberry Desktop Software is opened, use the USB Cable and hook the PB to the PC

The PB has a one year warranty to the original purchaser. It also has 90 free Tech support. I do not know how Rim deals with "quasi-tech support v. warranty"

It stays on bubble screen for some minutes then goes black
It's out of warranty

hello, has anyone figured this hang on boot screen? i have the same issue. it took me me almost three days to get it to finish set up. but still have the problem. the funny thing though it seemed better once i took the back cover of the PB, it seems to me it gets to hot. i have read some where that being an issue also with the PB. any thoughts?

I had this problem at a hotel i stayed at in Toronto last year. The only way it would boot up was if I walked out of their wifi range in the parking lot. Something about their wifi would lock up my PB. Had not had a problem before or after that month long stay at that hotel. It was weird.

Its a long shot but you could turn your PB off and walk out of your range and try turning it on again to see if it works.
