I recently did a security wipe to my playbook on version 2.0.0.4869 (rooted) and now it says I have to update. Is there anyway to bypass this or am I gonna lose my rootable Playbook? Please and Thank You

Why do you want to keep the old OS2 beta+rooted stuff?
RIM just gave a new OS2 to eliminate that need.
    Enjoy the official OS2!

No, it doesn't eliminate the need.
Can't side load with new OS.

I can't answer your quesiton, but I know this much...

If you upgrade from 4869 to the new OS, you keep your root.
If you wipe and reinstall, you lose it.
