    The title says it all.

    Will you use another tablet?
    If so, which one?
    Or
Have you already switched to another tablet.
    If so, which one?

I haven't used mine much since I got my Z30. I doubt I'd use another tablet more. My Z30 seems to handle most of my mobile computing needs quite well, even more so since the 10.2.1 update.

I'll continue to use the PB for a while but it represents a security risk to use the internet on a PlayBook now that no more security fixes will be issued. I'll like move over to a Windows 8 Pro tablet.

I don't think it's a joke since many BlackBerry sites are reporting the same.

I hope you are right but I think the PlayBook is done.

The PB. Strangely, it still works the same today as it did yesterday before the EOL notice.

But when it finally does bite the bullet, I'll go Android, probably something a little bit bigger or a 7" with more screen real estate.

    Potential options:

Thank you for sharing, I find the tablet size to be too big for the surface pro 2, personally I prefer a 7-8 inch tablet.

I'm thinking more along the lines of the Dell Venue Pro 8 which happens to be 8"

Hahaha I understand it still works but knowing there won't be more updates or a newer version eventually will make it obsolete.
That's why I'm wondering who will "jump ship" tablet wise.

I'm not going to give up on the PlayBook just because it's no longer officially supported. It hasn't been since months anyway. It does what I need it to, it's still got awesome speakers, a nice and sharp display (no big difference to HD from a normal viewing distance) and I still love the UI and user interface. Moon Reader (sideloaded) works perfectly as my ebook app of choice, and YouTube works in the browser and still in the RIM app (even better there, I feel).

If anything, I'll buy another PB to be sure if mine eventually dies. They are ridiculously cheap now.

I still use my playbook for games and music. But to be honest I have no interest in any tablet. My best combination is my Z10 and my laptop. Those two take care of all my needs. I just don't have a need for a tablet. The one exception might be a windows surface if it were capable of replacing my laptop. But I don't think it's there yet. I use my Z10 for most everything anyway.

Uhh? PlayBook. OS wise the tablet has been dead for months. Usage wise I use it everyday. Mostly Surfing, movies and music. I have a Z10 to help with any heavy lifting and communicating. PB hardware was (and is) great. The PB OS is showing its age obviously but the UI is still awesome. I really can not justify another tablet. I will keep using mine till the battery fails. Then I will just keep it plugged in! Still the best $248 piece of electronica I have ever bought.
