New Beta (2.0.0.4869) for the Playbook
The new version is 4869. Size is 460MB.
"This version offers support for new languages, Blackberry Bridge updates and Multi-media enhancements..."
You can get it by registering your BB Pin here
Edit: Android Apps don't seem to be working. I am going to try wiping and reinstalling from scratch to see if they work.
Update: Android apps seem to be working after a security wipe and re-install.Last edited by hodula1; 11-22-2011 at 03:40 PM.

Heh seems now even the 2.0 is now getting the insubstantial language+tweaks updates.

This is the biggest (in size) update that I can remember.

I smell a rat. why would an update that " offers support for new languages, Blackberry Bridge updates and Multi-media enhancements..." be 460 MB?

If you have 2.0 installed, do you still need to register PIN? Or will I see a notification when I get home?
Thanks!Chuck

The OS2 beta's have not had incremental updates. If you want those, stick to official releases. This does not have native BBM either... Lol

Incremental upgrade takes time to filter out what's really upgraded. Time that can be better spent doing something else. Since not 10000000 people downloading it, it wouldn't affect the server so much.
Dropped my playbook on the street, then got it back! I'm one lucky person!
Cropping your PlayBook Wallpaper for both Landscape and Portrait Guide (with PSD)
Or, you can PM me with your email and the picture and I'll crop and email em back to your PlayBook.

I notice a few things:
Inside Sound & Notifications, there is now an option for "Visual Notifications" including LED notifications! I sent myself an email and I got an audio notification but no LED notification. This is good so far even if LED is not yet working!
There is a Keyboard setting but no options there. - 11-22-2011, 02:41 PM #23
The design of the Bridged Contacts App is cooler - more refined.
Calendar looks different too.
None of my Android Apps seem to work.

The notifications message icon looks different now. When I get an email it looks like a little blackberry.
