I cannot seem to get the movies I bought on my Z10 to my playbook. I cannot download them and if I just transfer them via my Lan, they will not open. Any thoughts?

They're likely DRM protected and won't play on anything other than your Z10.

I've read where some use an application called Handbrake, there are others but Handbrake seems to be the go to here.

You can't remove the DRM - I don't know what type BlackBerry used, but it's a form of encryption and it will only play on authorized devices.

Someone somewhere may have hacked something together to remove the DRM (Like someone did for iTunes purchased videos), but it's unlikely and very much illegal.

Remember, you don't own the media, just the "right" to watch the media on the authorized device.
