    Help!

I did a clean wipe of my PB 2 days ago, and now I want to restore what was on it.

I reinstalled my PB OS through wifi, now sitting at 2.0.1.358. Using the Mac Desktop Software to restore my settings, it says that my OS is 1.0, and that 2.0.1.358 is available! But on my playbook, its OS2 that got installed! Why?

So in order to restore, the Desktop software will reinstall OS2 despite the fact that it got installed through wifi 2 days ago!

    wtf?????

Also, are you sure the computer and desktop manager had completed connecting to the PlayBook? I'm guessing perhaps Desktop Manager was just showing what it saw from the last time it was connected to the device.

At any rate, not having encounted this before, I would try restoring just data (not settings) and see what happens. Will it allow you to do that? If not, I guess I would allow Desktop Manager to upgrade the PlayBook and then restore the backup.
