    Default Forgotten Password for PlayBook

    I just purchased a playbook I found on craigslist. When I turn it on it asks for a password. I called the previous owner and we went through several variations of what he thought the password was with no luck. I am new to the playbook. What can I do to get through this?

    I will note now that I have no reason to suspect the PB is stolen or anything like that. It was bought from an older gentleman who received it as a gift from his son.

    Screw it, I just put in the wrong password til it wiped. Easy enough, just like new!

    I would wipe the device and start fresh. Even if I know the password, i would wipe it also.
