You can also just go to Crackle.com
You will be amazed at how functional it is in the browser.
Yeah I've been just using browser myself. The app for android looks pretty cool just figured it would be cool 2 have on the PB...its all good though I guess I'm just glad the browser works just fine lol
I understand the app would be nice, but i wouldn't advise you to wait for it lol. It might be a while! Luckily, our browser's are very nice.
Does crackle work with a bb hotspot instead of wifi?
Untested: http://apk2bar.unker.net/bar/5e/cb/4...1090.306.0.bar (although it has more thumbs up than thumbs down on that site, so it may work)
I haven't tried the new bar, but I had a bar file of the Crackle app previously that wouldn't play the video. The site works in the browser though, as others have mentioned.
Confirmed BAR works, thanks for the link. It is a bit sluggish though.
This is one case where the advice to use the browser version is good advice. There are several browser versions that I find don't work well in the Playbook Browser compared to the apps (Songza, Tunein Radio, Pulse), but Crackle works very well. I use it frequently.
This app works just fine!!! thanks man!!! Im in Colombia and the app set my current location so I can access all the crackle content available for my country!!
I would have to agree on Crackle.com being pretty convenient....and works just as well on the PS3s crappy browser.
The app now asks to be updated and opens the AppWorld (which does not have it). Does anybody know about a newer version?
I'll submit it to Koz (under the Android Apps thread) for conversion.
Does the Crackle site still work on your PlayBook? When I try to play a video it says, "There was an error decoding this media. The media format may not be supported."
Just tested in Origami desktop mode w/ ad blocking off. Works okay, albeit a tad slowly. It's acceptable, but I preferred the Android sideload. If you go the sideload route, make sure your app behaviour is set to showcase.
Works for me. But, I found it works as well through Oragami so, just use a bookmark. I had a problem with my PS3 and Crackle but sorted it out.
