    Default Audio Boost Tick-box Disappeared from options menu

    Im sure I had the tickbox a few days ago and now it has gone...anyone had this happen before?

    No. Mines is still here. Have you tired to restart the Playbook to see if it shows up again?

    I'm a UK user and if I select UK as the language in system settings then the audio boost option is not visible. However, if I select US in the language settings then the audio boost option is there. I'm pretty sure that it has something to do with the European Union setting rules regarding volume settings on portable audio devices as they seem to think we can't use our judgement as to what is loud and not good for us and what ain't.

    That seems to be it. I got the same thing.

    Yup that is it!

    Dont know why the EU cant allow us to decided how loud we want our music to be played...controlling arses...

    I'm fully setup for UK but still get the boost option when I plug in headphones.
