    Root access is only beneficial if there are smart developers who take advantage of it and open up features and capabilities of the tablet. Alas, there is no developer interest in playbook... Stock or rooted. So, basically, it's worthless.

    Rooted my Playbook on a couple of occasions... found no real advantage.... OTG was flaky at best.... BB disabled syncing with Google Play.... just did not fnd the experience worth it.... not like Jailbreak where you get many advantages.....
