Would like support for more media file formats. Divx and xvid support would been nice. Not sure if it can be implemented just at software level or if would require hardware acceleration.
RIM!!! Pls release the bloody thing. I'm trying to stay loyal to the playbook, but its really hard with the Nexus 7 out. So much available apps with the Nexus.
Fine!! There is not too many apps in App World, but release OS 2.1 and make the playbook OS almost perfect until BB10 is released.
Wants:
- smooth browsing- not sluggish - No blue checkers when I'm scrolling
- browser bookmarks
- make Android apps work. I hate it when I purchase an app in App World and it doesn't identify itself as android. Android apps are very sluggish.
- Optimize App World so its not soo bloody slow
- release core TAT apps that have been on display at Devcon a year or 2 back - TAT Note app, falling picture cascades app etc.
- release Jaycut
If I don't see some of the above improvements ... I'm sorry, but I will need to make the switch to Nexus 7.
I really don't want to. I love the solid build of the playbook and its fluid OS with the gestures.
Come on RIM!! we bought the playbook. Some of us dished out the 199.99, 249.99 or even the 499.99 + ..... Cut us some slack here!!!
I feel that the browser should have a folder structure to contain bookmarks.
At a point where there are too many bookmarks its a task to find one.
Custom Re-arrangement of bookmarks would definitely not hurt either.
The ability to answer calls over bridge on my PlayBook. So I can leave my phone in the holster. Would it really be that complicated a thing for a tablet to do via bluetooth?
Here are my old/new requests:
(some are crazy ^^)
- Overclocking
- Faster Reboot
- iOS apps Sideload(why isnt it possible nowadays?)
- Themes
- Google Widget(faster/direct google search)
- New and more pratical browser
Sent from a old but beautiful BB 8520 or a new and shinny PB 2.0
Music player with equalizer and cover flow. Even just one as good as the Torch.
Or at the very least, increase the size of the 'now playing' field so that its more than one cm high. Would be nice to not have to squint to see what's playing.
