2.1.0.1088 available today on Rogers LTE PlayBook

Hello all - for the Canadian users on Rogers with LTE PlayBooks (all 3 of us?) the 2.1.0.1088 update was made available today (Thursday 22 November).
My own version was 484mb. I got it by tapping the "check update" button on my PlayBook.

I'm not sure I like these Carrier gates.... However it's done and we've caught up.

So, that's Vancouver and Calgary with successful downloads from Rogers. Although there appears to minor differences in the size of the updates.
Let's go Telus and Bell, show some love.

I have an unlocked playbook on a Telus sim, no update for me so far... What if I put a Rogers sim in it?

Just to follow up, I was able to get the update by putting in a roger sim card on my playbook. Its installing atm, will let you guys know once it's completed

Which version PlayBook was it originally? You said it was unlocked but you didn't say what carrier it was locked to.

Can anyone that did the upgrade via Desktop Manager check:
C:\Users\yourName\AppData\Local\Research In Motion\Application Loader\Cache
and see if the files are still installed on the disk? Then share if they are?

Just a quick note...

I bought a Rogers SIM card from a guy on eBay who happened to live not very far from me, so I received it within a day. As soon as I put it in my PlayBook, I was able to get the 2.1 update. In case anyone else is interested, his site is CellPlan4U.com and his name is Bill D. I paid about $17 for it, including shipping, but for me it's worth it.

Confirmed. Got my Rogers SIM card today ($7 on ebay). PlayBook now on 2.1.0.1088. Saved the upgrade files. Who wants them?

Thanks for the info. I found an old Rogers micro-sim that i picked up when i thought I was getting an iPhone. Popped it in and now on 2.1.0.188. Was wondering why I was still stuck on 2.0
