Just a heads up to my fellow PB lovers, if you are a bell customer you can pre-order the Z10 and get $50 off, I just did this at the store an hour ago, so you have all day tomorrow if you want to save $50. And who wouldn't like to save some extra scratch, because I'm sure they'll gouge me with a ridiculous fee to switch phones when I go pick it up! Spread the word, and I can't wait to read your thoughts on the new phones, cause let's face it, I can only stand so much whining about the lack of a BB10 update for the PB! Time to talk about something else for a while folks!

Is that $50 off the full price, if getting it for a no contract term? My 9810 is no term with Bell, the website gives a max trade-in value of $80, so I could upgrade to a Z10 and get $130 off the retail $ ?? That would be close to selling the 9810 on ebay, average value there looks like $150. Bell would be less hassle of my time. Hmm ...

Funny you should mention this. I went to a bell store this afternoon to demo Z10 and see what it will cost me to change phones.
To upgrade my pearl to a Z10 will cost me $150.00 cdn. (quite a leap, I know!).
I got some hands on time with the demo model and was quite pleased.
I will get my phone Tuesday.
The sales clerk was quite an unhelpful snot, but I'm getting the phone anyway.

I called Bell today and re-upped my contract for another 3 years. I was able to keep my existing 50/mth plan and receive a 50 credit off the phone and no upgrade fee. My only problem was trying to pre book my Z at the Bell store. They couldn't figure out how to do it. Btw, been following Crackberry forums since PB day 1. First time posting. Looking forward to sharing thoughts, deals and love for BB.

That's funny! The clerk at my store was an unhelpful snot too, and had to call her manager to figure out how to sell me the phone. I'm not sure if you could get $50 off a no term, probably just the three yr term. Remember, we're in Canada, we get raped by our providers, because there is no real competition here for our business.

Yeah...I guess passing judgement on my phone choice was all part of the Bell experience. I wonder if I will be charged extra for that or if it's all part of the service?
