| | Your iPad can't...
Both of my parents have ipads and I'm trying to convince them that the PB is a superior device. I never play with ipads (all my friends are too poor/settle with just an iPhone.)
I don't want them to switch, that's not the point. I just want to show them up and plant the seed of doubt that maybe apple isn't infallable.
Please give me quick ideas of things that neither the ipad (my moms) nor the ipad2 (my dads) can do that a PB can handle with ease.
Thanks for the pointers ahead of time!

Crackberry forever! | How can you say that the Playbook is "superier to ipad when you have never played with it. I say get your hands on one before trying to sway someone out of another product.

@OP: I think you need to consider what your parents need.
If they need a small/portable tablet, do casual thing like web browser then the playbook is a better choice.
But if they need something productivity, paperless solution or consume alot of media (news, magazine, book,...) then the ipad probably a better choice.

Bridging requires BB, and iPad doesn't need bridging.

Crackberry forever! | What you want to look at is what they currently use iPad for, and if PB can do all of what they are doing first before you compare what PB can do that iPad cannot do.
Also, it's kind of pointless if they already have iPad, they wouldn't have a compelling reason to purchase another tablet unless the advantage outweighs the cost. It would make more sense if they didn't have a tablet already.

Crackberry forever! | I mean this in as nice a way as possible, but are you 12? If you are happy with your device and your parents like theirs, and you in your own words said you don't want to make them switch, what is your point? Just to make yourself feel superior? Why do you care?
