hi everyone, only discovered the playbook as my daughter was looking a tablet for her birthday, and i researched various tablets. She opted for the ipad mini 16g but i am very impressed with the 64g playbook for �129 ! thinking of getting one for myself . Are they being sold so cheaply just to get rid of stock because a new tablet is on the way rendering playbook useless ? hope not cause would really like to buy one with confidence. would appreciate some advise.

Only time will tell. Regardless, though, of what happens, the current Playbook will not be rendered useless. Is your Windows 7 PC useless now that Windows 8 has been released?

PB, is an awesome tablet and at that price well worth the money, and after BB10, it's only gonna get better.

The LTE version has a faster cpu and a sim slot and is a lot more expensive for the same thing really

My wifi version has never let me down, and why pay a monthly fee, when you have the bridge.

People go for ipads and ipad minis because of marketing. The playbook has never really been effectively marketed and as lost out because of this. However, this means you can have two playbooks for the price of 1 ipad mini, which is excellent value!

Buy 2 PBs (vs 1 lonely ipadmini), one for your daughter and one for her parents or sibling(s) so ya can vid'chat . . . . .

I got my NEW LTE 32gb for 99.97 through rogers in dec 2012 nice deal it was and i am only paying 4 dollars more then my old plan without a pb.

So i can use wifi and mobile 4g only as LTE is not in my area yet and i have a 5gb shared plan,i use wifi mostly
