My son says his iPHONE apps will directly work on his iPAD. Is this true
for my S2 apps onto PB ?

When I bridge or otherwise connect to my S2 and fire up BB maps, VZ Navigator,
Garmin, Blackstar, or Google Maps on my S2, can I view their screens on the bigger PB screen ?

And, when I fire up AP News, Reuters, WSJ, or Bloomberg feeds on my S2,
can I view them on my PB, with its much larger screen ?

Your son is correct. I'm sorry to say that your current BlackBerry apps (I assume S2 is a BB) will not work on the Playbook. They will show in App World on PB as unavailable.

Nope. All apps must be newly developed for the Playbook. The only apps that transfer over so far are bridged files, browser, contacts, memopad, calendar, messages, and tasks.

So, there is no Smart Monitor Mode or what that can transform the BB
screen to a PB screen ?
