I have tried to install programmes from the Blackberry World site. Programmes download but will not install, according to the error message. Is this my problem, the programme's problem, or a new problem with the Playbook?
My system is 64 K running 2.1.0.1917 with free storage of 38.6 GB out of total storage of 59.4 GB so there is plenty of room for more programmes.

Can you give us an example of the app you are trying? I have noticed that many of the "new apps" in Blackberry World will not install on my Playbook. The ones showing are mostly junk apps IMHO, but i was curious to try them out and they will download but not install. You should have no problem with the older, more established apps, however.

I'm not sure if anyone is actually maintaining the PlayBook app store any more. It still gets new releases but I notice that some apps meant for BB10 end up in there and are, as you said, unable to install.
