    I would be happy to pay for HD/SD video content if there were a way to get it onto the PlayBook. We know iTunes won't work (DRM grrrrr). We don't know for sure when or if Netflix will release an app (the website won't work). Amazon or Vudu would be cool alternatives but, again, we don't know if the support will be there.

    7Digital has a cool storefront for music (but my bank charges a $1 foreign transaction fee), but I would love to see something similar for video content.

    Anyone knowledgable have a good answer?

    I thought those were restricted to certain partner devices, similar to Amazon downloads.

    Yes, but you might have to make a conversion with freeware programs like anyvideoconverter or freevideoconverter. So far RIM has not fully given all the files that PB can read or play directly.
