No particular reason for this thread other than for whatever reason the mood struck me. I know there are one or two (maybe more) of these threads but none specifically for us PlayBookers only which I noticed in the active search.
We are a small bunch but a loyal bunch.

Are you a BB phone owner as well or is your first voyage into the Rimpi...er.. I mean.. The Bla.... Ah well you know what I mean.

    How long have you owned?

Ok, me first (here anyway ):
Canadian, from Ontario if you drew a Triangle from Waterloo to Toronto then down south to Niagara I would be there.. Border of
    Hamilton Stoney Creek

    Owned since late last year.

Don't own BB right now but i should have one soon.
Oh, Tim John Smiths post reminded me to mention I was and am a Rim shareholder before a Playbook owner.*

    Next?

Philippines, owned playbook since Dec last year as a xmas gift to myself and in preparation for BB10(also helped that it's cheap compared to other tablets).

    Paired with my 9900.

I'm in South Florida, USA. I got my playbook a month ago and I love it. My boyfriend has one as well, though he bought his about a year and a half ago.
We have had the pearl, bold touch, storm one and two, world edition, and tour. I've had 24 phones in four years. Some android, and a few iphones. However tomorrow we preorder our zed10s. So excited!!!!

BC, Canada, bought playbook for my wife at christmas. Bought myself one 2 days later after playing with it, had a very hard time finding one too. Went from 8320 to 8520 to 9700 to 9780 to 9900 and, of course now, the zed 10. Very happy with zed 10 and playbook each on their own. Not too happy with the bridge function with the two together. The 9900 and playbook were great togther, but its just an update away.

    Cheers, Gord

I am also a Blackberry share holder.

And I am proud of it all.

I live in Redondo Beach, California, near L.A., and I've been a PlayBook owner since May, 2011.

I've been using only a BlackBerry since 2007, and just had to have their first tablet. I remember how excited I was in September, 2010 when RIM announced it. I'm totally happy with it, and hope BlackBerry makes a followup tablet. My PlayBook has been Bridged with my 9780, and then to my 9900 and 9810. I hope BlackBerry updates the Bridge app though, because I've read that some of the functionality has been lost, but when I get my Z10 in couple weeks, I'm sure I will be too excited by it to notice the lacking Bridge features for a while.

    From Medan, Indonesia.

Owned BB Javelin since launching and then Onyx 2 till now.
Got the 1stGen Playbook 64G when they slashed it to half price here. Feeling a bit guilty for buying such an awesome hardware for 50% of the full price. I don't understand why the playbook is sometimes lagged though in the browser department.
Pre-ordered Z10 and collecting it on 16th March.

With love from the D.R. Dominican Republic!!!!!!, bought my playbook on november of 2012, never really wanted a tablet but didnt have a pc on that time, so thought that it wouldn't be a bad a idea to get a playbook since i love bb, then one day looking thru the classifieds on my country i struck gold!!!!! some guy was selling his barely opened playbook really cheap, because he got it from the states and he didn't "understood" the playbook, i was like thank u god! While i was giving him the money he got a call from a chick that wanted to buy it from him too but i got first yay!!!!!!, afterwards it has been a love affair with this 32 gb playbook, i spend all day long with it is so cool, there are so much apps and i just love it! Some friends of mine ask me why the **** i got it and i tell them i just love this beast it works so smoothly it should be a crime for the amount of money i got it for, and don't get me started on the bridge functionality people get flabbergasted on the things i can do with it, and of course HDMI o watch movies on the big screen gotta love my playbook

I'm in England. Bought the PB 64gb just on spec. because they were silly cheap a couple of months ago. Had no real idea at the time what it could do but wanted it mainly to store family photos to show to elderly relative in nursing home. Since when I've found just what a wonderful little device it is and wouldn't be without it now!

London, United Kingdom. Became a dad last June and anticipated much one-handed mobile browsing and messaging. Already had a 9810 [before that two Storms and one Torch 9800] and knew what the PB could do paired with a phone. Have not been disappointed nor looked back since. Use my 16G PB several hours a day at work [I am an editor for a well-known American newspaper] and at home. PB integrates seamlessly with employer's network and the verified standard of security is a big reassurance. I feel like I landed on my feet on choosing PB. It also represents a very strong indication of the future for BlackBerry Inc. which I am also pleased about.
