Where is the homescreen shortcut for browsing images on blackberry Playbook please? Since os two I can't find my picture shortcut.

What's I am doing is going through taking camera then picture. It's an hassle.

Did you look in the media folder? That's where my picture app is located.

Yes I did but there is only kobo. Music. YouTube. Video chat. My video shortcut is directly on my homescreen.

If I deleted this shortcut by mistake after os 2, am I still able to recover it?

(Thank you for answering so quickly. I hope I don't have to swipe out my playbook)

No, I have just checked again all my folders and menus up down right left and top. I can't find it. The only way to get to it is to take a picture then swipe down the menu while taking a photograph to finally stumble across a tiny shortcut on the top left handsome of the photo menu

And it happens only after I. Updated for os2. Before I was able to get it in the former menu on the media screen on the top left.

You can't delete the "Pictures" app. If you don't see it on your desktop and swiping left or right doesn't show it, see if you put it in a folder on your desktop. You could also open "File Manager" to get to your pics.

I don't have file manager. I have file browser. Air browser. Files & folders. I looked everywhere and in every folder but I still can't find "picture" shortcut. Only video. I use a trick to get to my picture but it's not great :/ the one using taking a picture.

Yes I did. My problem is not "new" it started since I updated to os 2 and I did it on day one. I have also updated to news os2 yesterday but it didn't change anything except adding two new applications zinio and mySkreen VOD.

Oh and how do you browse media on your smartphone through bridge? I'd like to be able to read video or listen to music on my sd card on my blackberry torch.

I don't have file manager. I can still access my picture through applications I downloaded on app world but they are not as snappy as the original one supplied by RIM. They are laggier.

Thank you for taking your time and help me solve my problem.

Yeah I know but I think that while creating folders I may have accidentally deleted it.
I can't find file manager neither picture folder.

mm it looks like you have just put them somewhere, you can not delete them they are built in. If you select the blackberry bridge icon you will have an option to open files.

Yes I am aware of the menus on the left on the right and I know how to swipe and how to open folders! I created them myself.
Again I looked everywhere on every folders and every tabs I made.

That's why I am asking for your help. I don't usually post something in the forum before looking. You myself if I can find a solution on my own with Google or other websites. I read all the section on 101. I'm not a new blackberry user. I read crackberry everyday and by the way I love the sites and the community even tough some are too much fan but that's another story lol

well it looks to me that you have managed to do something terrible to your PB, did you update to OS2 release from 1.07 or from the OS2 developer preview?

It looks like a full security wipe is in order to fix you up mate. use the Desktop software for backing up and make sure you get all your hidden pics off it first.
